 The most unforgettable meal is usually around Christmas time.My family usually makes bread with chicken.It may sound rare but once you see and taste it its the best.Along with that they make salads and some hot chocolate on the side.We also have good desert made.Sometimes my uncles might make steak or other food to surprise the family.This would also be why Christmas time is my favorite time of the year.

 There was something new I had noticed about my nephew.He had began using silverware like forks or spoons when eating.This was shocking because since he is young he would eat with his hands.Seeing him use these tools made me realize he is learning and growing up.It is a good thing he is learning how to do this though.In my head I know one day he will be older and using them like nothing.it may not seem as a big deal but when seeing them as little kids it makes a difference.

 My mom is someone who always influences me in a positive way.Her influence that always shows up to me in a positive way is to ever give up.My mom has always had that mindset which made me have it too.This motivates me to keep on going even if there are obstacles.This relates to school or personal things going on in my life.I have also learned to not let nothing stop me.

 I tried bringing my letter to life by putting videos together that make sense.As well as the music since it really adds to it.The mood I was aiming for was a sad tone that readers can feel as well.As well as a sense of confusion the way Celie felt.My editing helped me communicate the emotion by putting all the sad clips together you can start to feel how Celie felt through her struggles.It also communicated how bad Celie struggled when having her child. Today in class we watched our classmates videos on the letter choose for them from The Color Purple.

 After having an argument with my brother we went out seprate ways to our own rooms.A few minutes after we had to eat dinner which made things silent at the table.My mother then talked to us and brought up things from our childhood.At first we continued staying silent while we were eating.There was then a specific memory told that we would always talk about.We then looked at each other and began laughing.The rest of dinner was like if nothing happened. We began working on "The Color Purple" video project.

Advice that someone has given me before was to trust your gut.Sometimes we many think that was whatever we think is right.This is always a guessing game because we never know if it'll actually be right.I learned that if I want to be sure about it I should study or research it first.This way there is no confusion or no feeling of being unsure.This also helps to remember that it is better to be right then to  be completely off about something.

 I have heard about someone having a problem with their friends because of a boyfriend.The friends were controlling on how much on how the friend was not always hanging out with them.This ended up separating them further apart all because of a misunderstanding.I would tell Sofia that she should get away from Harpo. This way she gets a peaceful mindset and does not have to worry about her relationship all the time.Continuing the relationship could after her mental state because of all the issues.

 Someone who inspires me to be stronger is my mom.My mom is a strong worker who pushes herself through any obstacle.For that reason I do that as well with anything. I've learned that no matter how hard life gets you should never give up.I admire how she keeps on working even when not having to.I also admire how she never depends on no one else but herself.At the end of the day she knows she always has herself.This is also why we have many similarities because I have learned it from her.Even when being a teenager I know I still have things to learn and it will be from her.

 The first five letters of The Color Purple  was unexpected.Going into reading this book I knew it would be raw but not as much as it was.It then gave me a feeling of confusion on the things she went through.It made me wonder how a father can do such a thing to his daughter.Not only to his daughter but as well as his wife.Knowing Celie was only 14 at the time it made me feel bad because of challenges she had to face.Just knowing what happened at the age she is makes me wonder how her future late on turned out.
