 The episode we watched represented more than just meals by visually showing meals and families together.Linda's meals always seemed to show this very well which is why she stood out to me.You could really see how everyone seemed happy despite anything gone through in the past.I think the episode made many realize there is more to just meals to eat.It also makes us appreciate our lives more even if going through rough paths.More importantly they enjoy the food together more than being alone.Linda not only brings a few people together but most of the community which has helped it grown.

 One dish that  is a must have as a representation is brand and chicken put into a sandwich.This meal can come with many veggies as liked or with none at all.Either way this meal is delicious and many enjoy it.This dish is very significant because as long as I've known that dish is always served during holidays.Whenever walking into a Salvadorian household it will be one of the meals you try.I would say it is one of the most popular dishes served from my culture.A dish like that always brings people together and reunite as a family.

 Every year during the holidays my family always get together with one of my aunts families.During this time we go over to each others houses to spend time with each other.We make meals and hangout since we have always been close.When we get done preparing meals there is always the same smell.It is a smell that has never gone away but we don't mind it.It is a way to know the food is ready and that were going to eat good.This always takes my family back to when we were younger.The scent has not changed in years but we never get tired of it.The food holds our families culture and the way it brings us together.

 Drafting is an essential step in the writing process because it is the writers way of a lay out.This prepares you before the final essay to know what you need to work on.This can include sentence structures,punctuation and even ideas.Drafting allows to give ourselves a review before doing the real thing.During our essay process drafting allowed me to see my mistakes that weren't seen at first.When making mistakes we don't always realize them at first because of the pace we may go.When revising a draft we can check it multiple times until it reaches our satisfaction.When doing a draft my only weakness is  the starting point.I am unsure whether the way I start off will be good or strong enough.

 When writing an essay I struggle in developing a thesis and writing introductions.I struggle with this since it is the beginning and end of an essay.Finding a way to start  off is the hardest for me because I question whether it is good or not.The way I question things also affects the way I write.I think to myself if what I wrote will be understanding when read.I feel confident when developing ideas and finding evidence.I prepare the ideas I want to talk about first to know what to find for my evidence.Luckily on my computer I am able to use the find key to easily find evidence.This takes weight off my shoulders since I don't have to struggle looking through the memoir.Once I find my evidence is found I can easily  connect both my ideas and evidence together.One goal I plan to make is to not question myself a lot.This way my writing comes out smoothly with no complications.

 One idea that stood out to me was the prompt I chose.When you hear "The purpose of the Journey" I get many thoughts.I believe it goes with the purpose of the book.It was a way for Cheryl to overcome her internal struggles and keep on working for herself.She faces many things in life that get her to go on the hike.The hike is a way to clear her mind from things in the past.This is why I chose this idea over the others.there are many things for the purpose.We have learned enough about Cheryl to get at least an idea of her purpose.

 One thing that stood out to me was the amount of help we get.I think many seniors forget about this when applying for college.The only thing that may be on their mind is stress and anything in the works.They may struggle so much that they forget they have people around who are able to help.There are also ways to get a good start in a career they have interest in.I believe everyone should know what trade school is before going into senior year.It is such a good opportunity to get a head start.This is what many students would have needed.They also would've needed clarification so they can have a better understanding.

 After revising my literary argument paragraph I noticed there were minor changes that were needed.I decided to shorten any sentences that ran on too long.I also found ways to explain my evidence better.This helps my writing be stronger because it shows how I am strongly able to support my argument.This shows the readers that I know what I am explaining.There were also points where I felt I started being repetitive with my explanations.I decided to take these sentences away and replace them with something that hasn't been mentioned.After this I learn to not do this in my writitng.

 Writing essays on our own allows us as students to learn from our mistakes.We process the information we learn and create it into a way that we understand.When using artificial intelligence we don't learn anything from it.Students copy and paste things down when they don't even know what it is.In a way, writing on our own makes our brains smarter.We learn how to make our own claims and conclusions without being told answers.We automatically know rights and wrongs in our writing.Every time we write we learn something and we take that to get better each time.

 The most challenging part of writing the paragraph would be the claim.I say this because sometimes I don't know where to start off.There is a lot that goes into a assignment which makes it difficult.Sometimes I feel unsure of what to do or even if I am doing something right.This is where I overthink things which is what I should do less of.I find it more difficult to create an arguable claim since some sides can have many supporting reasons.We may think one side is because because there is more evidence to it.There could also be a side that is difficult to explain which could take time to write.

 My experience with writing has had its ups and downs throughout the years.I think every time I write I learn something new and notice mistakes.The most challenging thing I find about writing is finding enough explanation for a statement.There are times where I want to add more but some text may include a limited amount of reasoning.The most engaging thing is choosing text evidence.I feel since this is something we have learned since elementary we usually don't have an issue.Where I would like to improve is my sentence structure.Sometimes I make some repetitive sentences in different ways.When noticing that I do this I find ways to add more to it so it is not the same thing over and over.I had done this not too long ago for another class where I had to write an essay.I began having repetitive sentences since I couldn't think of what to write.
