There was a time in elementary school when my teacher played the Ruby Bridges film to teach race. The movie showed how a young black girl had to endure the hatred of white people because of her race. All Ruby wanted to do was get a good education without any problems. This help me understand that others go through the worst experiences because of the most little things. The film clearly showed how the time was hard back then even for children. It taught me how we should all be treated equally no matter the differences we have. The film also taught how people wouldn't even care for a little girls feelings they let there opinions take over. One thing I really enjoyed was how Ruby stood her ground and walked with confidence. This is how it should always be without anyone affecting others.
